Your family session should feel relaxed, playful, and never forced. We gently guide you while leaving room for real connection, so nothing feels overly posed. We help you with wardrobe guidance before your session and give you gentle posing direction during it. You'll never wonder what to do or feel awkward. And don't worry, your kids don't have to behave perfectly. We'll meet them where they are and create an experience that feels easy for everyone.
Small family
A parent and their first child, often a baby or young toddler. A family with one child and mom expecting (a hybrid maternity and family session). Or families with young children, teenagers, college-age children, or a mix. We capture candid-style shots and the more traditional formal style. Depending on your preference, we'll create lively, fun photos or more artistic, stylized images, and we consult with you beforehand to make sure we get exactly what you want.
Large family
Multiple generations: grandparents, adult children, grandchildren, cousins. The session has all the elements of a smaller family shoot, but with more groupings. A common ask is grandparents with grandchildren, grandparents with adult children, and all the cousins together. We do a combination of formal photos for the older generation and candids for the younger one.
Kids
There's something magical about a baby experiencing the beach for the first time, children running along the water, siblings playing in the sand. Parents love their laughter, their smiles, the genuine expressions. We know the tricks to make kids have fun, so you can relax while we capture the natural playfulness.
