We don't just take photos. We preserve connection.
We transform the moments that matter most into heirloom artwork designed to be seen, held, and treasured.
How it began
When Christine stepped away from her legal career in Washington, DC to pursue photography, she was following more than a passion. She was following her heart. That decision led her to meet James Roy, the owner of a successful Maryland-based studio whose artistry, dedication, and vision matched her own.
Their shared love for storytelling through imagery turned into a partnership in life and business. United by creativity and a dream of living on an island, they brought Paradise Photography to life: a studio rooted in artistry, romance, and intention. This husband-and-wife team is proof of what it means to follow your heart and see where it leads. And then there were three.
Owner & Lead Photographer
Christine Morden
Christine left a successful legal career in Washington, DC to build Paradise Photography, now the premier studio in Turks and Caicos and Business of the Year honoree from the T&C Hotel and Tourism Association. As the first Master Photographer in Turks and Caicos, she started an internship program teaching local youth, and she's known for her warm personality and meticulous care. "Making sure you look and feel amazing is what I love doing."
Master & Craftsman Photographer
James Roy
James brings over 30 years of experience and a rare ability to photograph people and commercial subjects with equal mastery. An award-winning Master and Craftsman Photographer, his real estate images have appeared on the covers of Christie's International Real Estate and Professional Photographer Magazine. A fan of classical music and culture, he grew up in Italy and Puerto Rico and loves sharing island living with clients.
Lead Wedding Photographer
Alex Foster
Alex grew up in the southwest of England and became a sailing instructor at 16 before working in yacht-charter marketing on Sydney Harbour. She moved to Turks and Caicos in 2013 and transitioned from wedding planning into full-time photography. Relaxed and easy-going, she captures meaningful candid moments with gentle direction. "Photographs eventually become your story, so live in the moment and show your sense of adventure."
Giving back
At Paradise Photography, community isn't a word. It's a commitment. We support local organizations including the Salvation Army, the Cancer Society, and the Edward Garland Youth Center. We're equally passionate about mentoring youth, sharing what we know, and encouraging aspiring photographers to pursue their creativity with courage and purpose.
